Dustin Gantos, MA, LPC, NCC
Practice Founder
I am often asked why I became a therapist. The short answer is – one of my favorite human experiences is empowering others to help themselves. This guiding principle has shaped my practice, where I aim to help clients gain the confidence and emotional competence needed to navigate their daily lives with resilience. I’ve always had a deep-seated passion for helping others, particularly children, those with trauma or PTSD, families, LGBTQIA+, and couples. I understand the unique challenges faced by these groups and I have immersed myself in supporting their growth and healing. I love that being a therapist allows me the unique opportunity to listen to others without inputting my own personal beliefs into someone else’s perspective. This is such a liberating part of my clinical role that I adore.
More about Dustin Gantos, MA, LPC, NCC
One of my mentors asked me once, “What brings you here?” This question remains at the forefront of my practice today. I am here, as a therapist and practice owner, because I find purpose in walking with others through their healing journey. Watching a client grow stronger, more confident, and resilient is still an indescribable experience that recharges me as much as it does my clients. The progress I see in my clients, the breakthroughs they experience, and the resilience they build, all contribute to my sense of purpose. This journey of empowerment and growth leaves me energized and inspired, knowing that I am making a positive impact in the lives of those I work with.
I am from a large family and I have five siblings, thus prompting my interest in family therapy and a family oriented approach to clinical issues such as trauma and anxiety. My experience with family therapy has made me an expert in parent/child relationships. I excel in promoting healthy family dynamics and fostering open communication with children and teens. I am dedicated to advocating for my clients and helping them learn assertiveness to not settle for less than they are worth and what they deserve.
